Resultado de imagen para the night of the broken glassThe poem talks about a Jewish man or boy, who has lived the WW2 and its horrifying a acts towards the Jewish community and other minority groups. The poem talks about the David's star that Jewish had to wear, the concentration camps, the perception Germans had towards Jewish people, and even the night of the broken glass.
This poem transmitted me the fear the boy has towards his painful memories and situations that nobody deserves going through. That made me think about how different people's lives are and how painful they could be because. I believe and hope that I will never experience the amount of pain that the person of the poem suffered. Maybe he is safe now, but the memories and what he had to see will haunt him for the rest of his life, and that is almost an unbearable burden that many survivors had and have to carry.
